In a just released recent voting rights decision, “the Supreme Court betrayed Black voters, they betrayed America, and they betrayed our democracy… . But the people still can fight back. Our best defense and offense is the ballot box." Statement of NAACP President Derrick Johnson.
The United Supreme Court in Louisiana vs. Callais further gutted our landmark Voting Rights Act, which Martin Luther King, Jr, John Lewis, Fannie Lou Hamer and so many others fought for.
THE BEST WAY TO FIGHT BACK IS TO VOTE IN GREAT NUMBERS AND DEMAND NEW LAWS THAT REINSTATE VOTING PROTECTIONS FOR ALL AMERICANS.
